In the United States, a significant 65% of 4th graders are reading below their expected grade level. The Literacy Trust aims to utilize the available resources in New York City schools to empower students and cultivate their reading skills. Their ultimate objective is to ensure that every student achieves literacy by the end of their first-grade year.
As part of my involvement with the Literacy Trust, I provided consulting services for their marketing and branding endeavors, beginning with the development of a fresh logo and followed by a new website. Our objective was to create a website that appeals to both educators and funders, reflecting a contemporary aesthetic. To establish a visual connection with their mission of promoting children's literacy, we incorporated lively colors and playful shapes.
