FACT SHEETS
The Office of Women’s Health (OWH) plays a critical role in making healthcare information accessible to women nationwide. As the lead designer on the OWH account at Pinkston, I develop campaigns that are not only clear and engaging but also inclusive and actionable. The challenge? Working within established brand guidelines—including OWH’s signature purple, existing fonts, and logos—while ensuring all materials meet 508 compliance standards for accessibility.
Each campaign begins with in-depth exploration and collaboration, ensuring messaging is both visually compelling and effective. Partnering closely with research and policy teams, I develop clearance-approved designs that resonate across diverse audiences; resulting in thoughtfully crafted campaigns that don’t just inform but empower women to take control of their health with confidence.
National Women’s Health Week
The 2025 National Women’s Health Week theme, "Prioritizing Women's Health: From Mind to Body," called for a design approach that felt both inviting and restorative. A calming palette of blues, purples, and greens set the tone, while hand-drawn textures reinforced the ideas of mindfulness and self-care. The visual identity centered around a half-circle logo lockup—symbolizing the connection between mind and body, coming together as a whole. This thoughtful balance of color, form, and texture created a holistic and empowering campaign experience.

Blood Pressure Awareness Observance
For the 2024 Blood Pressure Awareness observance, the creative direction leveraged bold red alongside OWH’s signature purple to immediately signal a focus on heart health. A dynamic circular motif wove through the design, framing imagery, drawing the eye, and creating a cohesive visual language across event materials. More than just a design element, the circle symbolized the ongoing nature of blood pressure monitoring—fluctuating yet always worth tracking, reinforcing the importance of proactive health management.

Syphilis Awareness Campaign
Congenital syphilis rates in the U.S. have surged by over 61%, disproportionately affecting communities of color. This campaign set out to inform and educate the public on the risks of syphilis while dismantling stigma and encouraging proactive healthcare. High-contrast, vibrant designs captured attention while signaling urgency and awareness. A distinctive prickly circular motif served as both a framing element for imagery and a visual cue for caution and prevention. The campaign spanned OOH placements, fact sheets, and social media—meeting audiences where they are with clear, compelling messaging.

National Women’s Health Week 2024
With the theme "Empowering Women: Cultivating Health," the 2024 National Women’s Health Week campaign aimed to foster a sense of hope and connection. A diverse array of women was prominently featured, reinforcing inclusivity and representation. OWH’s signature purple provided continuity, while a bold coral accent highlighted key messages, making essential health information stand out. A flowing, wave-like design element introduced an organic, modern feel—creating a campaign that was both visually engaging and deeply approachable.
